Replacing injection pump on 6.5 Turbo

I am in the middle of replacing the injection pump on my M1165 (6.5 Turbo) and I have everything unhooked EXCEPT for the cylinder 4 and 5 fuel injection lines. It is really tight in there , and I’m not sure how to get them unhooked. I was told the pump can be replaced without removing the intake manifolds. If I have to, I can pull them as I bought the gaskets just in case….. I just REALLY don’t want to.

so, for those who say this can be done, can you offer any wisdom for how to remove those bottom two injection lines?

This is what I use to get to the injector pump lines.

OR

One of these. Long extension from the back of engine, under the intake. Angle of the dangle better with the twelve point, mabey a swivel too?
Requires a little fussing, but no naughty words.

One way or another, CAMO
