Stranded in Warthen, GA (about halfway between Macon and Augusta) taking our deuce home after pickup. Went to head out this morning and brake pedal went to the floor. Think we found the leak. Sitting in a gas station parking lot. Have tools, but curious if anyone is in the area and willing to give a hand?

Looks like its the hard line running on the frame rail- leak is hidden behind air tanks (of course). What's the possibility of splicing in a new section of line with compression fittings just to get home?

Could. Eventually using a rubber hose that brake fluid won't eat up and using it with a few hose clamps will give you some pressure

No. If you have to obtain a splice section anyway, just get several long sections of line and use unions to couple them. Abandon the leaking section and tie wrap the new line to the frame. The line is auto parts store item premade in various lengths.

@Elijah95 , a long way, unfortunately. We're on our way back to Waynesville NC. Local option would be getting it to a shop in Sandersville maybe.

@NDT, am I right that the line is 5/16 inch diameter? Bad section looks like it's in the frame line running from the T behind the master back to the rear axles.

Do you have DOT5 brake fluid with you?
