What gauge steel is the inside pillar on an M1009? I have two rust spots behind the passenger seat to repair and need to know what gauge steel to get for a patch.

Crap I just scrapped a body that would have exact match pieces. Its not real thick, but there is a ton of structure also under that.

20-gauge hot rolled mild steel like 1008/1010 alloy is what I used on mine...Seemed about right
