I didn't drive my MV to the museum, but it was a road trip for the purpose of looking at MVs, so that's why I'm putting this post in this forum.

I only found out about the museum about a month ago from a friend that had been. It's only opened on Friday and Saturday, and I planned my arrival for just before it opened on Saturday. I was met in the parking lot by Fred- who sits on the Board for the Museum. He unlocked the doors and invited me in. Fred was very friendly and knowledgeable about all the display pieces, including information on how many of them were acquired. He had some great stories about some of them even being found in the weeds or old barns at different properties of Sam or Bud (Sam's son) Werner.

About 3/4 of the way through the museum, another gentleman joined us- who is also on the BOD. He was just as friendly, and fortunate for me he's also a big fan of the M151. (I have a '67 M151a1) We shared stories of our jeeps, and he showed me some other vehicles they have that were not on display. He also told me stories of accompanying Bud Werner on "demil" trips to Benning to haul out M151s.

My descriptions won't do the museum justice- but if you find the time to go visit- I'd certainly plan on checking it out.
