Thinking about sanding for some paint.
What grit to start with ?

Did some sanding to look for Unit numbers and it seemed to go very slow.

Ideas ? Thanks

I'd look into having the cab dipped or blasted. Often there are 3-4 layers of paint, bondo etc underneath and CARC likes to peel off in sheets over time. Dipping will also strip all rust, but make sure you reapply rust preventative once it's stripped.

I have an entire cab stripped no rust ready to drop on.

Just bring over over the air and electrical and have a new cab.

even has a fresh coat of CARC sand paint.
