singles without hub flip

random question for the day...
Could you run singles without flipping the hubs if you ran m135 wheels and just flipped the rear wheels? (think about how 900 series 5ton singles work)

Of course you can but your rear track still would be 8-9" wider than front.
It is best for an off road vehicle to have approximately the same track width front and rear(s).

I would think the M135 wheel is not countersunk on both sides for the lug nuts. Unlike a standard dual wheel, most wheels that are designed to be run in one position do not have the necessary machine work done to allow them to be reversed, as they were never meant to be mounted that way.
