I've been fairly busy on the M923 84' model. I fixed the in cab air leaks 3 in total. So that was good. I also figured out why the gaps in the window seals is so great. The seals were installed with about 1/2" hanging below the guide channels, and after the doors were opened and closed over time that pulled the seals down and caused the gaps. Because the seals have set in this position for God knows how long, the still need replaced. I also figured out why the door windows wobble so much in their track. There is some kind of material that lines the track and that material is completely gone, So that also needs replaced, but the good thing is that I only need the drivers regulator not both. I also rebent the battery box latches so that they latch now. Then I moved onto cleaning out the air drain valves behind the passenger door. They were clogged as I seen on a video on youtube. Next I found a couple cooling leaks, One was the the inlet pipe and was a quick fix with tightening the clamp, the second is the hose from the inlet pipe that turns back towards the surge tank. ( I looked it up from the manual and it didn't list a name for this hose, best guess it's called the thermostat housing hose) It looks like someone cut it with a razor. But I need this hose. I didn't see this hose listed on the spread sheet. Since I have ran out of money I'll have to wait until this weekend to get the oil filter, seal, oil, hose, and antifreeze. After this weekend, I "should" be mechanically sound. I hope anyway!
