State Forums?

In light of the earlier thread talking about making members state searchable being to difficult, what about this?

Make a "Hometown" section with state forums. Yeah, it would be 57 new forums with 2 more to add later (haha), but it might make it easier for us to get in touch with others in our area. Also easier to share state specific news?

Nope, too much of a mess.

That would more than double the number of forums, as it stands now most members dont bother with anything but the most recent thread page. It would be a royal pain to watch over all of the posts.

yeah lets see here.. lets double the amount of info... you really think our little hamster would make it? I would think we would have to upgrade to a couple of chip monks at least.

We have had this discussion a couple times before. It will 'divide' the site too much.

I know its unhandy, but with what we have right now, its just gonna have to work.
