Steering box issue!

2007 m1151, shephard steering box, steady leak coming from the output shalf. I have a parade tomorrow and I'm trying to fix it. I can get a new seal kit tonight, but cant get the damn pitman arm off. Yes I read the TM.

I bent the tabs open and inserted a 9/16 hex bit, tried to loosen with a breaker bar and snapped my extension in half. It wont budge. Am I doing something wrong?

Okay, turns out I just needed to hit it with MAPP gas

Huge shoutout to Craig at Mac Motors, he came in at 5pm on a sunday to get me a seal kit, hoping I can get this fixed and be ready for the parade tomorrow.

If its not clear I live right down the street from Mac Motors (privileged I know)
