Hi I started my deuce and let it warm up and noticed the gauge hasn't moved since starting it. I read a couple threads about pulling the wire off the unit and grounding it and the gauge moved a bit. Not sure if the sending unit is bad? Any ideas?

Is there a Napa cross reference part number for a new temp unit?

Get a complete mechanical replacement. It's more accurate than the military ones.

Pull the wire off and ground it. The gauge should peg. If not then it's a gauge or wire problem.
