Not with the stock latches, as I didn’t have any(doors were stripped of latch hardware on my truck). It should work ok, but you may need to change to a different rod or fab an adpter as the Toyota latches use larger diameter linkage rods…

Problem I see is the stock handle pushes the rod up while the toyota pulls down.

swap left to right? then flip upside down?

imho what ever latch you put on the doors... DO NOT USE IT TO PULL OPEN THE DOOR. Use it only for unlatching. Use another handle or strap down low. The height of the handles encourages the human body to apply more downward pull on the handles than they are designed for. This is in part why they break. Also consider a door popper (sprung pin) that assist in popping the door open.

SIDE NOTE: you might should reconsider posting your contact info in your sig. that information attracts personal data mining bots to sites like this....which attracts other bots and hackers.
