Hey,
I recently purchased a m1009 and soon discovered I had a short drive shaft. This was discovered after I broke a T-case going up a rock ledge. Anyway after fixing that I discovered the tail of the tranny is cracked and leaks. I j-b welded it, but still have a leak. When I check the fluid in the tranny it is pretty faint on the dip stick, but there is a defined line up to the full mark. I know I am loosing fluid, but I cant see it going down on the dip-stick. How much fluid do I have to loose before I will go down? I have found a new k-case for the t400 and plan on swapping all the innerds into the new case soon. How much do these cases go for? The guy wants $200 for the case.
Thanks,
Miles
