Our duece and a half sat for the winter, and come spring, refused to start. new batteries fixed the cranking problem, now it just refuses to start. Removed the cover on the side of the injection pump that the kill lever attaches to and can move the rod inside to make it run from 500 to 3500 rpm, but no throttle response. Am told it's a problem with the governor. Any ideas?
