How do you adjust tv shift cable to reduce hard up shifts?

Thank you ,I remember looking at my tv cable adjustment and it had a lot of slop before it would engage throttle linkage,I will make the adjustment.

Adjusted tv cable yesterday and took truck out this morning ,shifts perfectly now.thanks for your help!!
