Vietnam Veterans Dignity Wall in Baton Rouge

The Vietnam Veterans Dignity Wall will be in Baton Rouge at Zoar Baptist Church at the corner of Hooper Road and Joor Road beginning Nov 6th.

Viewing will be 24 hours a day between Nov 8th and Nov 11th.

There are TONS of activities planned included an escort beginning at the Louisiana/Missisisippi state line.

Do you know where I can find a schedule of events. A friend of mine said he is
flying a OH-58 to the event around 11:00-12:00 on Saturday and I will try to be there for that.

Great pics, but I don't think any of those rigs were in Vietnam, at least not in their current form. Kiowas, M35A3s (in previous M35A1 and M35A2 form), and M113s could've been there, but in earlier forms than shown.

That wall looks a LOT like the one in DC. Except this one is above ground, not burrowed in like the one in our nation's capitol.

This is the traveling wall at 3/4 scale that goes all over the the country. It last came to Baton Rouge in 2004. I'm sure none of the vehicles were involved in the confict. I was just trying to show the turnout at a Veterans memorial. My data plates on my M35 aren't accurate, but I thinck it was built in the era and am restoring as such. I wish mine was finished so I could have displayed it in period markings.
