Taking a trip out west with the family - going to hit all the major national parks and such along the way. Just wanted to know if theres any military related points of interest along the way......

Starting in Albuquerque NM heading north to Durango CO riding the train to Silverton - From there its north towards Grand Junction CO than west into Utah heading towards Moab UT - Then north and west towards Torrey UT - then south along Hwy 12 ending up in Panguitch UT - from there its the North Rim of the Grand Canyon staying at Jacobs Lake UT - then its Springdale UT (Zion) and from there next stop is LasWages NV :) - From Vegas its stop at the Dam and on to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. From the south rim next stop is Sedona AZ . From Sedona its back to
Albuquerque for the flight home.

Any cool sights to see along the way - surplus shops - salvage yards - closed bases etc.....

Jacks is about 6 hrs from the south rim [GC to Flagstaff, I-17 to I-10 to Tucson]. He does have a boatload of stuff! In addition, he's right at 1.5 miles from the Pima Air and Space Museum...decent spot to visit if you have any airplane interest. Great for young boys.

Jack Martin in Tucon is good to go but you will do lots of looking.

Sad to say but Jack Tomlins in Utah is a no go. Jack passed away last month.
He was one of the long time guys buying this stuff when almost no one wanted it. He had been fighting cancer for MANY years. No one as of yet has an answer as to what will actually happen with all that stuff. He had litterally tons of NFA stuff also so.....
