What is this

This was on the front of my m1009 when I bought it. What is it mean and is there somewhere to get a replacement as this one has taken a beating on rocks when wheeling.

hmm, ok I must admit I am stumped at first look. Have you had CARNAC run the vehicle info so we could perhaps know what type of unit had this vehicle or do you have any background info? knowing the history could be key to deciphering the plate acronym.

It says USAISD on the back so I think it was US Army Intelligence School Detachment out of ft huachuca in AZ.

Could it be an I.D. plate to identify a certain unit or sections in a unit. just guessing.

USAISD is the "United States Army Industrial Services Division"
