Who all keeps the runflats

Im new here so bare with me. I have a 90 m925a2 that I pulled the 395 85 20 off and installed a set of 1600r20. I keept the runflats in the 1600. Is there any performance difference by removing the runflats??

If you remove the run flats and have a blowout the tire will drop a great deal and can cause a bit of stress.
