Have been waiting for a drive shaft for the winch for a while but wanted to at least get the cable wound. Bought an old "arm buster" electric drill on eBay. Made and adapter to a short section of winch shaft. Have used an outfit on the internet to make laser cut parts before so thought this might work for the drive to drill adapter. Made 6 or 7 sections out of ABS that were laser cut to fit the drive tube and a hex bar. Glued them together and pressed into the drive shaft. Worked great with just a friction fit.

The clevis is new from Esmet. Kind of a pain to put on. Started one then had to cut off and start again.

We did something similar with our deuce winch, while waiting on a drive shaft. Had to let the drill cool a couple of times, but it did the job.
