Block Heater Fire

I use the 300w kats , they work good to warm fuel tanks also. But for I perfer the heat element that replaces a freeze plug over the external splice in type . The external give you alot more places to develop a leak .

I was getting ready to order a couple more and put one on the fuel tank until this happened.

Nice easy music, enjoyable photos, is this what happens when a heater burns up?
I would have hated to lose the ride to a fire, anyone ever heard of a freeze plug or screw in heater burning up? I ask, because I am thinking of moving to a colder climate and was thinking of a few ways to heat it up,,,,,but I dont want kentucky fried deuce:-?
