Block Heater Fire

I use the 300w kats , they work good to warm fuel tanks also. But for I perfer the heat element that replaces a freeze plug over the external splice in type . The external give you alot more places to develop a leak .

I was getting ready to order a couple more and put one on the fuel tank until this happened.

We have used them on our backhoes and loaders for the last 10 years without any problems.

Nice easy music, enjoyable photos, is this what happens when a heater burns up?
I would have hated to lose the ride to a fire, anyone ever heard of a freeze plug or screw in heater burning up? I ask, because I am thinking of moving to a colder climate and was thinking of a few ways to heat it up,,,,,but I dont want kentucky fried deuce
