Thank you for all the info that you posted! I got my rebuild kit from white owl, and with the PDF manual, and all that you posted here I was easily able to rebuild my 885JJSG carb, and man does it start easily, and throttle up great!!! Thanks so mich!!!
Can any one tell me, does the front end engagement on the transfer case need air to both sides, to engage and to disengage? Or does it diengage by air release?
Can any one tell me in a 1957 IH 5 ton, if the air actuator for the front end engagement on the transfer case needs air to activate, and deactivate, or does it disengage when air is released?
So after trying every auto parts place within a 100 miles, i called White Owl, and tey have the carb kit for my 885 jjsg carb for $45!!! So I am ordering it Friday when I get paid! Carb all done cleaning!!!
I pulled the upper half of the carb apart, and wow that was nasty! The accelerator pump is shot, so hard I could pound nails with it! But after i soaked it carb chem dip, which i found works allot better when i fill the kitchen sink with super hot water, and set the bucket into it to let it get...
