I second Rotella Syn 5W40. Great protection for $20 a gal. Flows MUCH faster on startup than dino Rotella 15W40. Us cold weather guys like that. If you must run 15W40, Redline and Amsoil both have synthetic versions.

They have some really cool bobbed and standard length deuces on their ebay store. The bobbed models are kinda pricy, but the standard deuces are priced fairly in my opinion if they perform as well as they look. With that said, has anybody here dealt with them and if so how was the experience...

The ability to run on "damn near anything" is what makes the multi special. It does sound "meatier" than newer diesels as welll-the sound is the one thing that I have always liked about deuces.

Driving a 5ton on the street is wishful thinking in most towns/cities. Parking one is another can of worms. Too many issues. Hence, using the "legal" 2.5 ton trucks instead. Trust me, I'd get a 5ton in a heartbeat if I could actually use it on the road as easily as a 2.5ton. lol
