Yeah 1400 for a bit of time is rolling the dice. What's the max RPMs on the Duramax? My son has a 2003 5.9 and he tries to keep it under 3200 RPMs but it will obviously go higher. Mark

This is why it's a must use never seize on the treads on the new glow plugs to help prevent this issue. This system is such a bad design and causes uncontrollable cursing for all who have to deal with them. Why couldn't they have used a grate system like on the Cummins. Just dumb. Mark

I've heard that too with the MTRs but all I can say is I've had mine for six years now with zero issues and they look like new. I have two 100% spares in case I do have issues. Mark
