    electric windshield wiper conversion

I do, but I'll have to do some looking to put my hands on them. You might want to check the client photo section on our website, they have been used on many of the rebuilt trucks shown there. We are about to do a massive sight update over the next few days, webmaster will be picking up...

    electric windshield wiper conversion

We have a really nice, heavy duty electric wiper system that works on M37, M715, 2 1/2-tons, 5-tons, and 10-ton trucks. Uses 2 motors controlled by a single switch. Has an auto return to park feature that parks the blades in a preset position each time the switch is turned to the off position...

M37B1 to air on "MY CLASSIC CAR"

Simple; most people other than purist hate the door spare carrier, and simply do not want to deal with it. The holes were not closed up permanently in the event that some other owner may choose to remount the spare carrier. All this was part of the owners rebuild specs. Most of the trucks we...

It has a QSB4.5 all electronic Cummins Diesel, and lots of other goodies. They showed a shot of the engine on the show and made mention it was a Cummins. Over 200 pictures of the build in progress are on our website.

    Restoration Guide

Well I sure can't figure it out. For the good it was, a train load wouldn't be worth .50 to me for my own use. I've forgot more M37 info than that book offered. The truck also fell apart in no time after it was sold to a guy in Ohio who thought that since it was the featured truck in that...

M37B1 to air on "MY CLASSIC CAR"

Correct; to each his own. I knew it wouldn't be a hit with the purist and that's ok. This is definitely the highest end military model we have done, exactly per Doug and Kelli's specs. It was fun to build and fun seeing how they loved it in the end. I'm glad they achieved this high honor the...

M37B1 to air on "MY CLASSIC CAR"

We simply don't know what editors may or may not have chosen for the actual show. We were informed by Doug, the truck's owner that the show at which the interview and filming took place will air on the 10th at 10pm. I do know that there were 4 other vehicles at the same rally who's owner's were...

    Transmission leaking, found out why

A rear main oil leak can certainly wind up causing clutch problems if it gets bad enough, however it is far less likely to get on the clutch than the airborne vapor from the trans that was discussed earlier. The reason is oil leaking from the rear main will either run down the back of the...

    Transmission leaking, found out why

I respectfully disagree. The vent is needed, why? First, the shift lever boot if in good shape is sealed up pretty good, certainly beyond the point of a decent pressure relief point. That's good as you don't need oil fumes inside the cab with you. The top cover gasket used on the 3053 trans has...

    Transmission leaking, found out why

99% of the vents we see that are stuck; there is nothing at all wrong with the vent itself, but rather rust and or debris has gotten in preventing to cap from popping back. Replacing is fine, but most times a thorough cleaning will accomplish the same thing and saves the cost of replacement.

    Transmission leaking, found out why

By all means check that vent; if it's plugged or clogged, pressure build up will cause leaking at the point of least resistance. However it is typical for PTO shifter shaft seals to leak. Quite honestly the seals used by the military are far from high quality. Instead of the double lip seals...
