LED tail light install

I have a set of LED taillights that came with my truck. I was told there needs to be a resistor put in with them to make them work. I tried the search but was not able to find anything. Anyone know what's needed to install these or can point me in the right direction would be great.

Are the fronts LEDs? If not, you will be fine to just install them without issue.

From GL, Boone Nat'l Guard. It was always a KY guard truck--maintenance truck.

Front and rear LEDs works great on my A3, with stock flasher. Also, the front fit perfect--all screws lined up.

ive installed led fronts, rears and headlights on mine. havent changed anything else in the light wiring harness. works great!

Will they still work if you did the cranetruck flasher mod? I think I may have to add a resistor.

From GL, Boone Nat'l Guard. It was always a KY guard truck--maintenance truck.

It was most likely some truck mechanic's baby. So it got fixed up with the latest stuff out of the parts inventory.
