Going to Sparta WI tomorrow after lunch to attempt recovery of my new M923A2!
Unfortunately the afternoon high is only going to be in the **teens** and below zero tonight.

In addition to the normal supply of tools and gear I'm bringing:
new fuel filter which I can fill with 911 and fresh diesel
a couple propane heaters
slave cable

Any specific advise on cold weather operation with the A2 that might help me get the old girl going?

Thanks and wish me luck...

I would bring a extra bottle of ether in case the one on there is empty . Most truck stops have the bottles just get the one with a lubricant in it it is much better for the engine ........

Good call on the extra ether bottle.
We'll see how it goes. Worst case I'll have to work out a deal with the guys and attempt the pick up when it warms up next week.

Good luck with the recovery, tell us how it goes I got a truck Ill need to get there, also I was bidding against you on this truck. Glad it went to an SS'er and not a company that will chop it up.

great looking truck, it looks like it just rolled of the MWO line and straight in your hands.. Congrats. and Good Luck on the Recovery.. With the ether you can all so just get the spay cans and remove the air filter under the drivers door and have Solider B spay a little as you turn it over and keep it going until it picks up on its own..

Awesome truck! I can't tell for sure but it looks like you might want to take a spare with you. Unfortunately I needed mine on my recovery, that's the only reason I mention it (that and bottle jack, lug wrench and a hoist.) At least if you take it, you probably won't need it......

Thats funny, I wrote this one off right away thinking it would go for substantially more. The ones I picked to bid on (and actually went down to preview) all went for more than I was willing to spend.
