Swbradley1's ldt-465-1d

I bought this engine off of SWBRADLEY1 for parts but it turns out there is less parts that i can use than hopped for.

The bottom side of this engine was absolutly destroyed, couldnt use the crank for obveious reasones, couldnt use the cam becaus it was cracked as well sorry could get a clear enough pic of that. I started to take the pistons out but i was braking bolts of the rod caps and some were cracked so that wasent going to happen. so the only parts i could salvag is:
Heads
intake manifold
exhaust manifold
injectors
injector hold down assy.
injection pump
1 Cyl styl air compressor
secondary fuel filter assy
2-oil filter cans with springs and bolt
push rods
rocker arm assy.
injection pump retaner, bolts and gear
valve covers
D-turbo
air intake horn
turbo oil inlet feed tube
turbo oil drain tube (damaged)
water pump with housing
and thermostat housing

Could you explain what pic 2 is (top row, second on left side). It looks like a hose cut.

Holy crap on a cracker. You said it was broke but I really didn't think it was that broke.

Hey! It ran when parked.

Hmmm, well Pic 2 is one of the coolant distrubtion hoses from the intake manifold to the heads, and in pic 1 it looks as if it was getting coolant in the engine oil and vice versa.

Mine had a broken crank, but that one shattered the crank journal bosses in the block, there were some major forces at work there.

Last engine I saw that looked that bad inside was a 16V Detroit that blew on the engine dyno at work,at 2100 rpm.

not a coolant line, it is the crank case breather manifold that bolts to the 2 valve covers. i didnt get a pic of it but its full of that gunk.
