These were popular over on the Powerstroke Diesel forum I frequented when I owned one. I haven't seen them mentioned here.

I had tried a Napa GPR (109) and it lasted less than one year ... end of winter to the next fall.

This one was in it several years and probably still is ... I traded the truck.

It felt like a quality piece.

Rated at 200 amps / 600 momentary(inrush)

How much is that compared to the "dog head" mod relay?

Only $55 compared to the $85 for the heavy duty ST85 glowplug relay at Napa.

Gimp, I guess you could use it for the $15 DH starter relay.

LOL, I'm not familiar with that particular relay , but if it works as well under that type of load , I'd go the cheap route also!

I was mistaken, your talking about the glow plugs, and it seems the DH mod is for starting. I'll just sit in the corner with this pointy hat on!
