So the wife's bin complaining about not being able to get in and out of the truck. Soo I fabbed up these today and I'm not sure if I like the way they look.

Don't think they look bad. Touch of flat black and some grit for the step treads and you'll be "good to go".

Drock, I think those are sweet! I wish I had the equipment to fab up a set for myself! (Welder) Thinking of ordering a set from a fellow SS member, sorry, cant remember his name off the top of my head but he was at one time atleast building them to order. Just need to recover $$ wise from my 6.5l turbo build!

See I like the way his rock sliders look, Much cleaner. Plus his looks better with larger tires. I think I made my steps too deep. If I have time today I mite shorten them up about an inch or so.

So I went ahead and cut the drop of the steps buy an inch. Doesn't sound like much but it makes ah big difference in the look. Much cleaner looking I think. Now I just need to find some 2" stock to make the step platforms, finish the ends, and fab up some brackets.

Yeah those look good on that truck. Much more in proportion with those huge tires.
