It ran me about £165 plus about £30 for shipping to the U.S. Though I will say, the quality of construction is much better than I expected... It looks like they made the canister walls out of high pressure schedule steel pipe and not an old dog food can

These must be pretty rare in the USA, no? I've always like them but they are very rare here in Europe.

They are pretty rare everywhere except in the UK. Total production was only around 2600 - some went to Oz, some Belgium and some Kuwait. The Brits left a few in Belize and also Canada.

I've been told it could be... I'm still looking into its history. As far as I can tell, the truck was originally in Wales. Under the rattle can camo looks like desert tan... And under that seems to be the original British Racing Green color!

Nothing fast about old Land Rovers.
I think you are referring to DBG, Dark Bronze Green, that's LR green.
I got all the info about my truck's history from the Royal Air Force museum for a small donation, they might be able to run your numbers and give you your truck's history too.
Took a ride in my friends 101 at the SSGA rally this yr. Rides really smooth because of the parabolic springs and turns on a dime!
