thinking of selling my m792, was wondering what a fair starting price would be?

It has 6800 miles, was rebuilt in 82 at a base according to tags, has front winch, in cab heater under passenger seat, cold weather door kit, other folding front doors, 3 styles front roof tarps, 3 styles rear trailer tarps, tarps are summer style, insulated and ambulance "red cross" pattern type. trailer has top bows and aluminum side fences, two spare tires and rims and new carrier bearing. all blackouts are there and work. in cab heater works awesome
also has a clean and clear Michigan title.

needs two soft hoses replaced in between carrier and tractor for brakes, one stub axle broken, needs windshields replaced, shear pin at pto ujoint for winch is broken, and two headlight bulbs broken.

all the things broken are really easy repairs, this machine is in amazing condition, runs great, starts great and is cool to drive in.

just testing the waters to see if sale of it is a possibility. any insight would be appreciated

Since there's a limited number that makes them worth more but unfortunately due to it's usefulness (pretty much just a toy) it also limits it's market. There was a recent sale of a nuts and bolts restoration of a 561 that went for around $24k (I believe) so that would be the top of the pyamid. There are several runners that are in restorable condition but nothing to write home about out there right now priced at around $6500 (but they're not selling). Personally I'd say (given just a description and no photos) somewhere in the $8-10k range. Of course that simply my opinion based on limited information. David Doyle suggested a #1 condition M792 was worth $12k but that was in 2005.

I've heard the yellow ones are rare and valuable.

That's the one I was talking about. I thought I'd heard it went for $24k but may have been wrong. It appears to be "as delivered" other than the bolts should have been painted.
