What a difference a year makes! Late last year, UH-1H, Serial No. 68-16179 was headed for Amarillo, Texas after the Randall County Judge there had spent more than year to negotiate her release. Now fully restored, the helicopter was unveiled over the weekend at the Texas Panhandle War Memorial. After the National Museum of the USAF authorized its transfer, Pueblo-Weisbrod Aircraft Museum in Pueblo, Colo. acquired LiM-5, serial number 1C1303 for display. The museum team collected the aircraft from storage here, along with a LiM-2 and several training missiles, in August 2015 and their restorers began working their magic almost immediately upon arrival. They recently unveiled the restored LiM-5 which is an amazing transformation! - November 18, 2016

NO No no..... I'm saying that by your wily ways you have escaped death by the hair on a droid's chinny chin chin.

Meant that as a compliment of sorts and my no means was I dissing you.

Now back to our aircraft bone yard topic if we may.....

What are some of the more rare birds that might be found out there? Anything experimental that might be hoping for a reprieve from the scrapper and a future berth at a museum or such??
