Turbocharging a non turbo 6.5L

Hey everyone I recently purchased a 93 M998 and I got lucky that it has the non-turbo 6.5L instead of the 6.2L. I was told that it's pretty simple to turbocharge the earlier non-turbo 6.5L's. According to the person that told me this all the internals are the same and it's basically just a matter of bolting everything on. I'm hoping you guys could please tell me if he's correct and if so exactly how difficult it is to convert it and a good place to get the turbo and other parts to install it. Thank you in advance.

Jess

If by "internals" he was referring to the short block, that would be correct. The heads are different on the turbo 6.5 for the HMMWV.

LOL. Ask that person to bolt them on for you.
