I would have thought they would lift the barrel to keep the water out. Loader is going to get a bath when he opens the breach.

If their tanks are anything like ours, they likely installed a rubber cap that goes over the end of the gun tube.

Unless we were actually doing gunnery, I always kept the cap installed to keep dust out of the tube. Nothing worse than swabbing a bore when you didn't even get to have fun shooting the thing. :\
