I'd like to set up a meet at Prairie city ohv once the weather cools down. Bigmike, I know your restored wrecker would attract spectators as well! Any interested let me know.

David in Simi Valley N/W of LA with M925A2 in Tehachapi. I have CDL Class B permit but still need to take CDL driving test. Any suggestions for truck rental and possible CDL volunteer to drive with me to DMV in Ventura or Lancaster or Bakersfield. Any advice or help would be appreciated. Can't wait to drive my truck legally down the road.......

I took my class B test in a deuce over in Fontana. Luckily the instructor served in Vietnam and he loved the truck. He didn't cut me any slack though. I wouldn't hesitate to take it in a 5 ton but the truck has to be fully legal and you'll have a auto trans restriction on your lic

He didnt seem to care. The only difference would be slack adjustment on the air brakes so I just verbally described the procedure on a S cam style brake. We still went over the air pressure gauge portion.
