Get online and do a Google search for this manual: TM 9-2320-280-20-3

Make sure you get the -3 manual, it's the one with full schematics at the very end of the TM. There are dozens of free download sites both here and on the internet.

Have you looked at the TM’s. I bet the schematic you are looking for is in there.
Unfortunately the various wiring diagrams in the -20-3 TM are almost unreadable...

Here is one from the M996. (A bit clearer, at least...)

It's hard to believe that anyone who would buy a HMMWV wouldn't take the time to download the manual set for them. Especially since they're free! Your not going to get answers about your truck from the local Chevy dealer or the auto shop down the road.

Here's the gauge cluster schematic:

If you can’t read the wire numbers it isn’t very useful. Yes they are free. And so is the advice here. Take both with salt.

Use your web browser....
search for "pdf tm 9-2320-280-20-3"
pick one and view it.
If the heading has PDF at the beginning, it will probably be a bit more clear.

Nope. Only the -20-3 (JAN 1996; 1168 pages, 17.4MB ) has all the wiring diagrams, at the very end.

Some of these diagrams, for example for the M1025A2, M1035A2, M1043A2, M1045A2, are acceptable quality; others like for the M997 and M997A1 are miserable.
Really, those A2 diagrams should work OK, since the instrument clusters have more or less the same functions and wiring numbers, for all models.

I guess unfortunately we’ve arrived at “yes” that’s too much to ask.

Got the diagram out of the manual , same as ginger traube sent!
When I hook it all up as per diagram, my volt meter reads nothing, oil and gas gauge are pinned to far right . Is this telling me I have a bad ground?
