When I looked at Jumbo, Bruce Kubu's restored M125, I was amazed at the size. David, when you get the cab out, take pics of the steering box. My memory is faint but it looked like the size of a small block chevy.
Here you go Kenny....removed the steering box today

And I keep drooling over that PRIME workspace. Started out looking like a pole barn. It appears now that least three sides are closed in now. Sanctuary from the cold and rain is pretty sweet.

That steering box is a monster for sure!

Lying and waiting....
I keep wondering if those axles aren't just waiting for a reason to slip out from under the frame. It would make it easier to pull off the rear springs  to repack those bearings. And if you pull the front ones out you could inspect the pins that support those pins...

(Okay, I am just jealous because you have such a COOL TRUCK and a FANTASTIC place to work on it!)

I can tell you from experience those axles don't just slip out from under the frame LMAO!! the pivot point on the rear spring's does not have bearing's it's a massive bushing that is fitted with a grease fitting. I will be pulling all the brake drum's to inspect the bearing's and brake part's and of course clean and repack with new grease.

I'd bet those axles make an old guy grunt - just a little  . It just looks so cool sitting there... I can't wait to see a little paint sprayed and parts being bolted back onto that MONSTER of a frame!

Are those road grader tires? I didn't know anyone made road-legal tires in 14.00x24 anymore. I know for a fact noone makes NDTs or NDCCs in that size...

Finally!! Thank God I live with no HOA and the neighbor's are cool with what I do. Lot's and lot's of cleaning got some primer on. Moved the truck around to the front of my house in the driveway because a good friend of my I've known since I was 10 yr's old had his 1969 Z28 4 speed car up for sale...ended up buying it so it to be under roof.

When you get that thing ready, I'd like to make the trip from Perry to see her!
