mine is leaking at the arm...is there a rebuild kit ?. is it necessary for the well being of the Free World?....can it be plugged/bypassed?.. thoughts?

I would think any cheap leveling valve could be easily adapted to take its place.

Take it apart slowly (incase of springs) and see if any O rings are in there..... get back with us on what you find.... appreciate it in advance

Ugh..$200 and $185 (used) from “that” outfit In Missouri
Commercial ones can be 80 to $200 depending on brand. You get what you pay for. You aren't driving a 1990s Ford ranger. It is a truck built for the military and only them with no civilian equal so parts aren't that common or they will be a little more.
There is one on the auction site with make an offer.
However, the video seems to show that it could be easily rebuilt with a few O-rings...seems to be the cheaper way!

and that's exactly my Labor day Sunday task..if it cannot be rebuilt...I'll give Bryce a call..he has done me real good on used parts...There is one on the auction site with make an offer.
However, the video seems to show that it could be easily rebuilt with a few O-rings...seems to be the cheaper way!

harbor freight blue box...the largest o ring which is sandwiched between the 2 'halves' was fine .

interesting.... the blue box is Metric. Was that just the box you had? Or did you have both metric and sae... but found a metric was closest match?

had both red and the blue box...
11mm nuts and 3/16 allen wrench...go figure

might be all metric. Apparently 3/6th allen is 5mm metric. curious if the threads are metric.
So not to assume.... since you had both metric and sae boxes.... you then compared rings from both boxes and found the metric to be closest match?

Almost makes me "special" to have a real o-ring gauge I guess.
One of those things that sits there in my toolbox most of the time - but it sure is nice when you "just need to know" .
Of course that and a nickle won't buy you a cup of coffee.
