So I've had this truck for a number of years. Honestly I stopped driving it around 10 years ago. But I've had it since 2007. Today I have had the body "dustless" sandblasted. And I've got it primed. The plan is to have @Spot_ll work his magic on it like he did my CUCV. There will be other upgrades to come, including power steering, and brake upgrades. But I'll try to document all the updates from here. Thankfully it seems the body is pretty solid. There's only a little rust on the corner of the bed. And some small tiny holes in the door.

.
It looks like a lot of good sheetmetal! It will be lots of work, but the end result will be a fine looking truck... Glad that you have @Spot_ll to make it really look sharp.

While it cost a grand to have it blasted. After messing around for several days, it was money well spent IMO.

The problem now is that I'm watching auctions for a 180+ cfm air compressor. Because I want to get @Spot_ll a sideline gig going lol.
One step at a time.. let’s make sure I get this project right…😁

Tip of the day: Dustless blasting is awesome. The down side it you have to pressure wash and blow out(I used a leaf blower) every single nook and cranny as the sand gets everywhere. Some places, I have no idea how it got there. Not that I’ve got most of the sand out of the areas for paint, maybe within the week I can get what small areas need some repair, and get some 383 on this thing.
