Operators manual is a help. But thanks to this Site I am able to view more in depth TMs
Brake Master Cylinder now at proper lever was down to half level in reservoir / now addressing the leak on the steering box and gonna add 00 grease after draining out gear oil that is leaking out the Pitman arm. With these two addressed I feel lot better to start driving her. Will start incremental trips after steering level checked and added 80-90 gearoil
00 grease arrives. Then changing to the 00
Thank You will post photos later

Other levels to check. Rear ends will be checked. Surplus Yard where I got Her from had Engine oil replaced and at proper level. And the oil leaking from steering box is clean. Think they did a good job getting Her ready in that way. But gonna keep going with Maintenance before Releasing the Hounds. And in the beginning will only be short round trips with Checking it out after.
Thanks.

Getting 80-140w Valveline truck gear oil for the rears. Be checking those levels soon.
Drive these when I was in the Army. Been a long time. Driven 5 + 10 tons also. Drive manual Pickups whole life. Not the same as these Bigger ones. Got To Repect its Size and Weight. Never Want a Drive Go Bad. Hope Always Safe 🙏
Thanks

Front wheel boots look good I think. Is one moving out of position ( one showing zipper ?
And oil pan needs to be cleaned. Looks like a mix of road dirt road oil and oil from truck. Not dripping engine oil. Will clean off this paste like mess.
Thanks
.
Yessir, Zipper Boots are supposed to be a lot easier to install.
Zipper installs "up" so you don't leak oil/grease.

It does look like it may have pulled loose from the "band clamp" that holds the boot in place. Check it. It might not be...

I know I got synthetic 75-140w gear oil for rears. Maybe should get conventional 75-140w gear to top off if rears low. They probably have conventional in there not synthetic. Not sure if mixing would be good. Any ideas please. Thank You
