Great when they work, and are ready on standby

We had a brief power outage glitch that only lasted a minute or so a few days ago. I was getting ready to go out and start the generator at house and utility power suddenly came back on. In some ways I was disappointed power came back on so soon... lol

Regardless, it's definitely reassuring knowing you can be your own Power Station when utility power fails in time of need.

Power went down about 450 last night, and came up at 8A this morning. 802 never missed a beat.
Love that. I've had my 802 for almost 2 years now and not one power failure. It's like the old saying...if you have a spare tire you will never have a flat. I do run mine monthly with a 50 to 75% load for a 1/2 hour. Every time we have a storm roll through, I secretly hope for an outage. I'm set up for extended running with the aux pump drawing from my fuel oil tank. That pretty much guarantees I will never have a power failure. Glad you escaped any damage!
