I been using a solid pulley and haven't had an issue, the clutch pulley has failed two times on me

Have you been using the correct belt when you cha to each pulley?
Ive seen the clutch pulleys fail…but not in any of my trucks, that pulley is the standard now.

that doesn’t tell me anything,….i go off part numbers

And that belt is ONLY utilized on the late serpentine with the clutch pulley…no other pulley works with that belt.
