Couple of generations of 5 tons

We had a lineup of a few 5 tons and also wound a front winch line on correctly. A 1972 M818, I think a 1972 M813 and a 1958 M54. Also, anyone ever put a M818 and M813 bumper to bumper. Looks like in one of these pics that the tractor sits higher. Check out the pics.

i realize old post, so by now perhaps you've figured out just how heavy that M813's winch is and in addition how the M813 wheelbase puts more weight on the front axle, and that the number of spring leaves are same between them .. I have a M818 w/w and an M818 wo/w .. Yes winch trucks sit a bit lower in the nose, especially the older they get
