Dose anyone know if a two cylinder is better than a single for what ever reasion. I have one of each and will be putting one back on my truck. Which one is better?

I have always been told the single "one lunger" is the best. Why? They say it has a much lower failure rate. I've had both and didn't see much difference. I believe the one cylinder is made by Midland and the dual cylinder is made by Bendix. The single may have a bit higher CFM but not sure

I can see there would be a few less moving parts, The single is the one that came with the truck but I'm changing the pulley and got a whole twin comp. in the deal. Prob put the thunper back on, since I know that one works, Thanks
I have some pix, is there something in perticular you would like to see, I can take some if you need.
