Minor detail that the show might consider. Let the vehicles park before registering. I got caught in a jam with a few other vehicles last year while the people registered. Kind of hairy with so many people walking around and trying to back out of the spot they told me to go to before parking the truck on display.

Great show, as it aleays has been. I have a handful of newbies to the MV hobby coming too.

TJ
We are doing alot of things different this year, the display vehicles and vendors will come in the same gate as always, vehicles will registar at the gate , And all spectators will be parking on the otherside of the fairgrounds this year and wil be paying as they come through a walk through gate, we had alot of people trying to get in for free last year with the old "i know so and so" this year only display vehicles and vendors will be coming in and out without paying, we implemented a new colored hangtag for vendors and displayers so we can easily identify you... all others will be paying the 5 dollars admission...

Anyone who would like to be a vehicle judge please let us know we have a very new list from the MVPA it is really well done, and has allot of new categories, like a all CUCVs are in there own class, and are not going to be judged against a HMVEE for example, we really would like it if some SS guys would help fill the new judge roster, please PM Me or Scott ... formernewmvguy THANKS!!!! U can judge just 1 or 2 or more vehicles, and this is the best way to learn about all the vehicles or share your knowledge with those who want to learn ,,,, thanks!!!!!!!

I judge the M-151's at Aberdeen so I could try to help you out. The problem is that I am not sure I am going to be able to make it and I probably will not know until I get there. I have a lot of stuff to get done before Aberdeen and I only have one day a week to get it done.

I wouldn't mind helping out but I really don't think I know enough to be judging.
WarrenD U do not need to know much, we sure will help U with that, and thats how we all learn, the first time i judged was Aberdeen many years ago, I got a call from a guy who said: Randy U are going to Aberdeen right? I said yes, he said "Good i put your name down to be a judge' !@#$% WHAT? I do not know ... he said no prob just do it U will be glad U did, And He was right, If u or anyone wants we can put U with some other guys , and we have a few already but more is always better, the forms are easy, its like a 1 to 10 scale just go down the list, all U need to do is be able to see the truck !!! :) It really is the best way to get to see all the trucks and what people are up to with them, It is also a great way for a father and son to do together, I have been pushing that alot, it really is alot of fun, We keep everything light and fun there, so please give it a try, like I was told, U will be glad U did... Thanks for mentioning it... :)

Amy,

Is it WE can't come or HE can't come. Heck leave the ball and chain behind. The rest of us can take care of you.

LOL

Dang, just realized, nobody to wake me up in the morning and bring me breakfast. DANG! That does it, I ain't comin'.

OK, maybe I will but this is the final straw. Next thing ya know, they'll be tellin' us to bring our own bath towels and linen. I thought this was a full service swap meet. Where's my union rep?
