Hey Dirt - just a quick question about your restoration philosophy. When you do a ground-up restore like you are doing, do you try to use all new bolts/nuts/etc. or do you prefer to try and use the originals and clean them up as best you can?

I beed blast any and every nut and bolt that is reuseable.

Question: What is the hollow cylinder used for on the very right rear frame? Also, is that the steering box mounted inside of the left running board (excuse the ignorance)?

Just a quick update. I've been working on getting all the body part's ready to take down south of me about 4hrs. to have acid dipped. Cab, door's, windshield frame, fender's, hood, fuel tank's etc.

Took almost everything down today to have acid dipped. It's about a three week turn around to get it all back. Can't wait.

The engine has not run since March of 08

It was right at 1500.00. The place is in Wauchula, Fla. about 3.5 hrs. south of me.
