there is a gap, oem had foam on the bottom to fill the gap, the secm sits on the bolt heads that go thru the body, so thats the gap you are seeing, you can see also the old 'weatherstripping' looking filler they used

Got wiring issues fixed with inverter, installed 24v air compressor and tank, welder reinstalled and wiring chased down (with many thank you's to @aghumvee for his time)
next will be a test tickle with a ford alternator to verify the 'not under the hood' under the hood welder works before...

had time to remove the passenger rear seat base under the maintenance body and found there is room for not 4 but 6 group31 batteries, woo hoo, always need more power
Intend on removing battery box and installing air ride seat for driver and passenger
Its a computer with all the programs required to work on a truck, catET, allison transmission, bendix abs, also need a nexiq adapter to go from j adapter to computer
