Humvee initiation rites began today. Geared hub reseals and new ball joints, tie rods, etc. Also got my supplemental ground harness today too.

Thank you all for the input! As others mentioned, the holes were worn larger and required a bigger set of fasteners. I used Rivnuts with bigger screws and it turned out nicely.

Thank you - I guess the crux of my question is what does it screw into? One side has a 1/2”+ hole and the other side has a large coarse nutsert. If anyone has a good pic of their setup in this spot, it would be helpful.
