the pressure relief is in the hyd control valve. it is not adjustable from the outside, but....... should you wish, you can remove the cap above the return line and shim the spring with the correct diameter washers to go were ever you dare on psi. there is is a seat under the spring. make sure...
I went 4 clicks on the gov springs. it idled @ 950. had to adj the accelerator rod because it was holding the rpm's up. then i could idle it back down to 750 in neutral. just don't adjust the rod to long or it won't go wot when you floor it.
After i had the issue with my air drier, i had an air leak on the ctis dump valve on a rear axle. tried to find a replacement to no avail. i took it off and took it apart ( very simple valve). it had a piece of metal that looked like a piece of pipe thread stuck under the diaphragm. no cost fix...
If i do the adjustment on the back of the pump with the sockets, should i leave the front screw turned out the 7 turns i have already done, or return it to original stock setting.
On the trip home from Ripley in my m931a2, i lost primary air. it turned out the filter on air dryer unscrewed. messed up the threads, had to bypass it to get home. the dryer had been replaced in 2012. they must not have tightened the filter.
does anyone know if the complete winch system will fit from a m925 to a m925A2. i am concerned the pump may not interchange. they are both Allison trannys, but i dont' know if the same model. I have never looked under a w/winch truck. Are the trannys behind the NH250 and 6cta8.3 the same. Thanks.
Roll protection was included in the 939 upgrades. The trucks were phased out before many got the cages. this is the first picture i have seen of one, thanks.
Ctis
Hey Freight Dog, My A3 CTIS also is working with no problems since i got the truck a year ago (odo shows 25k). Your tire leak down is likely the o-ring on your two piece wheel rather than the ctis. I put my spare tire on and no more leak down. The o-ring was rusted to the rim. That...
It's in a composite housing recessed in the drivers side front bumper on my m35A3. the bulb has a reflector that slips over it ( like a flashlight ). On a dark night it will shine a blue light about 20' ahead . No real use in the civilian world, but looks cool for show and tell.:) A 24V marker...
Does anyone know of a source to find this blackout drive bulb? The complete Lights are readily available, but i can't find just the bulbs. the # on the bulb seems of no help. Thanks.
